Six RBI Day For Jeremy Green Seals The Deal In Ecclesia College's Victory Over Austin College

Jeremy Green drove in six on three hits to lead Ecclesia College past Austin College 15-5 on Tuesday. Green drove in runs on a double in the third, a double in the fifth, and a triple in the seventh.

Austin College got things started in the first inning when an error scored one run.

After Ecclesia College scored two runs in the top of the fifth, Austin College answered with two of their own. Ecclesia College scored when Green doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. Austin College then answered when Cody Goggins grounded out, scoring one run and Justin Alphonse singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Ecclesia College pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Stevie Morphew singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs and JT Stalnaker singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Madison Bates toed the rubber for Ecclesia College. He allowed two hits and two runs over one inning, walking zero. A host of Royal pitchers were used, which included Mason Alexander, Cameron Pitts, Christian Stone, Daniel O'Brien and Weston Chadwell.

Trevor Anderson toed the rubber for Austin College. He surrendered five runs on four hits over three innings, striking out two. Ryan Scruggs, Michael Winterrowd, and Collin Maynard each contributed in relief for Austin College Roos .

Ecclesia College collected nine hits on the day. Green and Stalnaker each collected multiple hits for Ecclesia College. Green led Ecclesia College with three hits in four at bats.

Austin College saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game. Oscar Gonzalez, Josh Boring, and Alphonse all collected multiple hits.
