Ecclesia College Falls To Southwestern Christian University On Walkoff
It came down to the last play, but Ecclesia College was on the wrong end of a 5-4 defeat to Southwestern Christian University on Tuesday. Southwestern Christian University was down 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Diogen Ceballos singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Southwestern Christian University got on the board in the second inning. Cade Carter doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Southwestern Christian University tied things up at three when Mitchell Bryant grounded out, scoring one run.
Ecclesia College notched three runs in the third inning. JT Stalnaker and Ethan Casey each drove in runs during the inning.
