2nd Half Breakdown Leads to Lady Royals Loss

Last Friday night the Lady Royals took on Randall University in Moore, OK. The contest would be a tale of two halves.

Ecclesia would get off to a slow start offensively scoring just 10 points in the first ten minutes. However, they played strong defense and were able to keep it close early. The Lady Royals would then go out and win the second quarter 14-12. Going into the break Ecclesia trailed Randall 30-24. In the second half Ecclesia fell apart defensively and allowed Randall's lead to balloon.

Randall outscored Ecclesia by 17 and 14 in the final two quarters of play and would win the game 93-56. Freshman Guard Harmony Van Campen (Houston, TX/Travis High School) had an electric shooting night knocking down 6 three pointers. She would lead Ecclesia with 19 points as Freshman Guard Tayler Kirk (Flippin, AR/Flippin High School) added 14. The Lady Royals next game is on February 5th at Ozark Christian at 5:00 p.m.
