Stalnaker, a sacrifice fly by Jay-Ryan Woods, and an RBI single by Cam Doughtery during the first inning and a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Alec Walker, and an RBI single by Robbie Rodriguez in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Ecclesia Royals Varsity.

Morthland College falls 7-0 at the hands of the Ecclesia Royals Varsity

The Ecclesia Royals Varsity beat Morthland College on Friday 7-0 in seven innings.

The Ecclesia Royals Varsity scored three runs in the seventh on the Ecclesia Royals Varsity scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Joe Dawes and an RBI single by Jay-Ryan Woods.

Dawes racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Ecclesia Royals Varsity.

The Ecclesia Royals Varsity's Taylor Burnett kept Morthland College off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the mound. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on six hits while ringing up six.

Walker took the loss for Morthland College. He lasted just two innings, walked six, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

T3he game's last lead went to the Ecclesia Royals Varsity thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on.
