Game 1

Southwestern Christian University took an early lead in the second inning when Lopez drew a walk, scoring one run.

Ecclesia College Royals Varsity fell to Toccoa Falls College 8-7 on Thursday on the final play of the game. Toccoa Falls College was down 7-5 in the bottom of the ninth inning when Landon McLane homered on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs.

Steve Morphew collected five hits in defeat. Morphew singled in the first, singled in the third, homered in the fifth, doubled in the seventh, and tripled in the ninth.

Toccoa Falls College fired up the offense in the first inning, when Joey Allen's sac fly scored one run for Toccoa Falls College.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Toccoa Falls College tied things up at five when Carter Fricks singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

Concordia University scored on a single by Steinborn in the first inning, a sacrifice fly by Sherman in the second inning, and a double by Lowe in the second inning.

The Ecclesia College Royals Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Concordia University, giving up 12 runs.

Concordia University got on the board in the first inning when Steinborn singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Concordia University scored six runs in the third inning. Concordia University batters contributing to the big inning included Acker, Sherman, and Milheim, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
