Fresh off their 3rd straight 30 win season, and 2nd World Series berth in three years, the Ecclesia Royals baseball team will look to continue to build off past success with its 2020 game schedule. The first month of the season in February will highlight a season long 15 game road trip for the Royals. "It honestly just worked out that way. A lot of the teams we play we will alternate years of travel or we schedule home and homes. This year it just happened that a lot of our road trips are packed into one month. The more our schedule unfolded, the more I liked it. Get the grind of the long road trips out early, with us having so many new faces and so many contributors to replace, it can only make us better in the long run if we approach it with the right mentality." Said Coach Matt McCue in a statement.

Senior day for the Royals will be April 11th in their final home weekend series with regional foe Randall University. The 2020 schedule will also feature two midweek contests against NCAA Division 2 opponent Ouachita Baptist University, as well as a packed schedule loaded with quality NAIA programs, including 2019 NCCAA World Series semi-finalists College of the Ozarks and Southwestern Christian University.

For the first time in program history, the Ecclesia College Royals will be hosting the NCCAA regional tournament this year at Tyson Sports Complex. "We are so thankful for this oportunity to compete for another world series berth in our backyard this coming spring. The credit really is to the Springdale Parks and Recreation department. They did some field renovations this summer on our field they allow us to use and it has been a night and day difference in the way the baseball bounces. It is a gorgeous complex we are so fortunate to have usage of, and we are excited to share that with the rest of the region." Said McCue
