Game 1

Ecclesia College fights back, defeats Manhattan Christian College, 12-11

With Ecclesia College trailing by two in the seventh inning, Matt Garrison came to the plate and doubled, scoring Zach Vincent and Cam Doughtery.

Garrison racked up two RBIs on two hits for Ecclesia College.

Offense was not hard to come by on on Friday, as both teams combined for 23 runs and 30 hits, including 11 extra base hits.

Alec Walker got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over six innings. Alec Walker struck out five, walked four and gave up four hits.

Ecclesia College easily handled Manhattan Christian College pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, eight RBIs and 11 runs scored.

Rankin couldn't get it done on the rubber for Manhattan Christian College, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.

Aaron Means drove in the go-ahead run to give Ecclesia College the lead in the sixth inning, as Ecclesia College hung on to beat Manhattan Christian College 3-1 on Friday.
Matt Garrison singled to get on base in the sixth. He then went from first to second on a stolen base.

Garrison was hot from the plate for Ecclesia College. Garrison went 1-2 and scored two runs. He singled in the sixth inning.

Taylor Burnett got the win for Ecclesia College. He allowed one run over seven innings. Burnett struck out one, walked none and gave up seven hits.

In the top of the first, Ecclesia College grabbed the early lead, 1-0.

In the fourth inning, Manhattan Christian College pushed across its only run of the day on an RBI single by Zecha.
