Baseball Wins Series on Walk-Off, Honors Seniors and Sets New Single Season Wins Record at 30-19

GAME 1
Ecclesia College Royals Pitche Well, but Can't Find Enough Runs in Loss to Arlington Baptist College

Both teams were strong on the mound on Friday, but Arlington Baptist College was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Ecclesia College Royals Varsity on Friday. Mason Alexander started the game for Ecclesia College and recorded 21 outs.

Ecclesia captured the lead in the second inning. Drew Vinson drove in one when he singled in the second inning.

Arlington Baptist College took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Gavin Munoz homered off of Mason Alexander, driving in three runs.

Ecclesia College Royals Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Arlington Baptist College

Ecclesia College Royals took the lead for good in the sixth inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Arlington Baptist College by a 6-4 score on Friday. The game was tied at two with Ecclesia College batting in the bottom of the sixth when Robbie Rodriguez singled off of Erick Garcia, driving in one run.

Arlington Baptist College took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Gavin Munoz drove in one run when he singled.

Arlington Baptist evened things up at two in the top of the fifth inning. An error scored one run for Arlington Baptist.

Madison Bates earned the win for Ecclesia. He threw six innings, surrendering four runs, nine hits, and striking out six. Jay-Ryan Woods recorded the last three outs to earn the save for the Royals. Erick Garcia took the loss for Arlington Baptist. He pitched two-thirds of an inning, giving up two runs, one hit, and walking one.

Colton Glover started the game for Arlington Baptist. He pitched five innings, allowing three runs, three hits, and striking out two.

Cameron Dougherty, JT Stalnaker, Robbie Rodriguez, Joey Dawes, and Ethan Casey all had one hit to lead Ecclesia.

Ecclesia College Royals Jumps Out to Early Lead in Victory Over Arlington Baptist College

Ecclesia College Royals grabbed an early lead on its way to an 8-1 victory over Arlington Baptist College on Saturday. Ecclesia College scored on a double by JT Stalnaker in the first inning, a double by Stevie Morphew in the first inning, and a single by Matt Garrison in the second inning.

Ecclesia took an early lead in the first inning. The Royals scored two runs when JT Stalnaker doubled with one out in the first inning.

Ecclesia scored three runs in the fifth inning. The Royals scored its runs on a double by Robbie Rodriguez.

Jacob Martinez earned the win for Ecclesia. He went seven innings, allowing one run, six hits, striking out seven, and walking zero. Josh Darden took the loss for Arlington Baptist. He pitched four innings, giving up eight runs, six hits, and striking out three.

Ecclesia College Royals Walk Off Arlington Baptist College in Extra Innings

Ecclesia College Royals defeated Arlington Baptist College 3-2 on Saturday with a walk off in extra innings. Ecclesia College was down 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Matt Garrison singled off of Noah Vaughan, driving in one run to force extra innings.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Ecclesia pitchers struck out four, while Noah Vaughan sat down two.

Arlington Baptist College took an early lead in the first inning. Gavin Munoz's sac fly scored one run for Arlington Baptist.

Jay-Ryan Woods earned the win for Ecclesia. He threw seven innings, surrendering zero runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking one. Vaughan took the loss for Arlington Baptist. He pitched seven and a third innings, giving up three runs, nine hits, and striking out two.
