BASEBALL TAKES 3 OF 4 FROM RANDALL UNIVERSITY

Game 1

Ecclesia College Claims Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Randall University

Ecclesia College took the lead late and defeated Randall university 8-7 on Friday. Ecclesia College was down 2-1 in the top of the seventh inning when Elijah Saldana singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

A six-run lead in the seventh inning was just enough for Ecclesia College to hold off Randall University for the victory. Randall University scored five runs in the failed comeback on a single by Cosby, a sacrifice fly by Smith, a error, and a single by Matejka.

Randall University knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fifth inning. Castro drove in one when he singled.

Mason Alexander got the win for Ecclesia College. He went six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking zero. Trever Smith and Weston Chadwell entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Chadwell recorded the last out to earn the save for Ecclesia College.

Katins toed the rubber for Randall University. He lasted six innings, allowing three hits and one run. Reagan Hall and #3 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two-thirds of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively.

Ecclesia College had ten hits in the game. Matt Garrison and JT Stalnaker each racked up multiple hits for Ecclesia College. Garrison led Ecclesia College with three hits in four at bats.

Randall University totaled ten hits. Matejka and S Varela all collected multiple hits for Randall university Saints Varsity. Matejka went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Randall university Saints Varsity in hits.

Game 2

Ecclesia College Takes Victory Over Randall University, 7-3

Ecclesia College wins contest against Randall University, 7-3

Ecclesia College opened up scoring in the first inning. JT Stalnaker drove in one when he singled.

In the bottom of the third inning, Randall University tied things up at two when Madison Bates induced P Varela to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Ecclesia College pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Elijah Saldana tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Ecclesia College put up four runs in the fifth inning. Ecclesia College put the pressure on, lead by a single by Jeremy Green and a fielder's choice by Matt Garrison.

Bates was the winning pitcher for Ecclesia College. He lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out two.

Cosby toed the rubber for Randall University. He allowed five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out one. #6 and #11 entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Stevie Morphew led Ecclesia College with two hits in three at bats.

Smith went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Randall University in hits.

Game 3

Fewer Hits Still Spells Win For Randall University Against Ecclesia College

Even though Ecclesia College collected nine hits to Randall University five, they still fell 4-2 on Saturday

Randall University captured the lead in the first inning when Elliott drew a walk, scoring one run.

Randall University took the lead for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Matejka hit a solo homer.

Hackney was the winning pitcher for Randall University. He allowed nine hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out one.

Cameron Pitts took the loss for Ecclesia College. He went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out eight.

Randall University mashed two home runs on the day. Matejka went deep in the third inning. Leake had a four bagger in the sixth inning.

Ecclesia College tallied nine hits. Matt Garrison and JT Stalnaker each racked up multiple hits for Ecclesia College. Garrison went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Ecclesia College in hits. Ecclesia College didn't commit a single error in the field. Stalnaker had the most chances in the field with eight.

S Varela led Randall University with two hits in three at bats.

Game 4

Ecclesia College Defeats Randall University In A Blow-Out Victory

Ecclesia College asserted their will over Randall University on their way to an easy 12-1 victory

Christian Stone was credited with the victory for Ecclesia College. He surrendered one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out one and walking one.

Cordle took the loss for Randall University. He allowed ten hits and ten runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one.

Ecclesia College collected 12 hits on the day. Stevie Morphew, Drew Vinson, and Matt Garrison each managed multiple hits for Ecclesia College. Morphew led Ecclesia College with three hits in three at bats. Ecclesia College was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ethan Casey made the most plays with ten.

Matejka went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Randall University Saints Varsity in hits.
