ECCLESIA TAKES THE FIRST TWO GAMES AGAINST CROWLEY'S RIDGE

Game 1

Ecclesia College Overcomes CRC Pioneers In Face Of Early 4-Run Inning

Ecclesia College claimed a 12-5 victory on Friday, despite a big push by CRC Pioneers in the fifth inning. CRC Pioneers big bats were led by Garrett Williams and Christian Hamilton, all driving in runs in the inning.

Ecclesia College secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fifth inning. Ecclesia College put the pressure on, lead by singles by Matt Garrison and Jeremy Green, a walk by Cameron Dougherty, a sac fly by Zach Vincent, and a double by JT Stalnaker.

Ecclesia College opened up scoring in the first inning, when Stalnaker's sac fly scored one run for Ecclesia College.

Ecclesia College notched seven runs in the fifth inning. Ecclesia College batters contributing to the big inning included Dougherty, Vincent, Garrison, Green, and Stalnaker, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Madison Bates took the win for Ecclesia College. He allowed five hits and five runs over six innings, striking out five and walking zero. Trever Smith threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Wilson Teague took the loss for CRC Pioneers. He allowed two hits and five runs over three and a third innings, striking out two.

Green led Ecclesia College with two hits in three at bats.

CRC Pioneers didn't commit a single error in the field. Williams had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

Game 2

Two Ecclesia College Pitchers Team Up In Shutout Victory Against CRC Pioneers

Ecclesia College defeated CRC Pioneers 13-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Tim White induced a groundout from Zach Duty to finish off the game.

Ecclesia College got things started in the first inning.

Ecclesia College notched six runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught by Ecclesia College was led by Robbie Rodriguez, Jeremy Green, and Stevie Morphew, all driving in runs in the frame.

One bright spot for CRC Pioneers was a single by Nate Finney in the first inning.

Mason Alexander earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Ecclesia College. He went six innings, allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out three. White threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Troy Allen started the game for CRC Pioneers. He allowed five hits and seven runs over one and one-third innings, walking one. Austin Tripp and TJ Rolen entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.

Ecclesia College tallied two home runs on the day. Justin Friemel had a homer in the sixth inning. Morphew put one out in the second inning.

Ecclesia College totaled 14 hits. Trayson LaCour and Green each managed multiple hits for Ecclesia College. Green and LaCour each collected three hits to lead Ecclesia College. Ecclesia College was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ethan Casey had the most chances in the field with ten.

Game 3

Late Score Costs Ecclesia College Against CRC Pioneers

Ecclesia College stayed in it until the end, but CRC Pioneers pulled away late in a 9-8 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at eight with CRC Pioneers batting in the top of the ninth when Corbett Seib hit a solo homer.

Matt Garrison collected four hits in defeat. Garrison doubled in the first, singled in the fourth, doubled in the sixth, and singled in the eighth.

CRC Pioneers got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for CRC Pioneers.

CRC Pioneers knotted the game up at eight in the top of the sixth inning, when Christian Hamilton hit a solo homer.

After CRC Pioneers scored two runs in the top of the second, Ecclesia College answered with two of their own. CRC Pioneers scored when Bobby Wright singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs. Ecclesia College then answered when Zach Vincent grounded out, scoring one run and Garrison's sac fly scored one run for Ecclesia College.

Ecclesia College tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Ecclesia College's big bats in the inning were led by singles by Vincent, Garrison, and Jeremy Green.

Kyle Rappold earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for CRC Pioneers. He lasted nine innings, allowing 11 hits and eight runs while striking out six.

Cameron Pitts took the loss for Ecclesia College. He went two innings, allowing five runs on three hits and striking out one.

CRC Pioneers tallied four home runs on the day. Seib went yard in the ninth inning. Tyler Battles had a long ball in the third inning. Hamilton put one out in the fourth and sixth innings.

Ecclesia College tallied 11 hits. Garrison and Trayson LaCour each racked up multiple hits for Ecclesia College. Garrison went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Ecclesia College in hits.

CRC Pioneers racked up 13 hits on the day. Hamilton, Battles, Seib, Nate Finney, and Wright each collected multiple hits for CRC Pioneers. Hamilton led CRC Pioneers with three hits in five at bats.

Game 4

Ecclesia College Drops Game To CRC Pioneers After Late Score

Ecclesia College stayed in it until the end, but CRC Pioneers pulled away late in a 19-13 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at 13 with CRC Pioneers batting in the top of the seventh when.

JT Stalnaker drove in six runners in the loss. Stalnaker drove in runs on a home run in the first and a home run in the third.

In the first inning, CRC Pioneers got their offense started.

Ecclesia College put up four runs in the third inning. Ecclesia College batters contributing to the big inning included Stalnaker and Drew Vinson, who all drove in runs.

Brian Dumas got the start for CRC Pioneers. He surrendered seven runs on five hits over two and a third innings, striking out three.
