The NCCAA announced the 2018 All-American Teams. Student-athletes were selected by vote of the National Baseball Chair and Region Baseball Chairs. Student-Athletes must be 1st Team All-Region selections before they can be considered for All-American status.
JT Stalnaker added to his list of accolades for the 2018 season by being named a 2nd Team All-American Catcher. This is Stalnaker's third consecutive All-American honor as he was named 3rd Team All-American his sophomore year and 2nd Team All-American his junior year. Prior to being named an All-American in 2018, Stalnaker was selected 1st Team All-Conference, Conference Player of the Year and 1st Team All-Central Region. Stalnaker batted .426 with 66 hits, 69 RBI, 15 doubles and 11 homeruns.
Mason Alexander was selected as a 3rd Team All-American Pitcher. Prior to being named an All-American in 2018, Alexander was selected 1st Team All-Conference, Conference Pitcher of the Year and 1st Team All-Central Region. Alexander finished the season with a 9-2 record and 1.6 ERA.

Ecclesia College Baseball (35-18) went 2-2 in the loaded Central Region Tournament hosted by College of the Ozarks in Branson, MO May 9-11. Two nationally ranked top ten teams were part of the Central Region Tournament. #2 Southwestern Christian University and #8 College of the Ozarks. In addition, #1 seed NCAA DII Colorado Christian University was ranked #3 in the nation in schedule RPI and Central Baptist College and the Royals were ranked top 10 nationally at one point in the season.
The Royals were informed that due to their quality showing in the regular season and regional tournament that they were in consideration for an at-large bid to the NCCAA College World Series to be held May 23-26 in Easley, South Carolina. There are seven Region Tournaments and each Region Champion recieves an automatic bid to the World Series and then three at-large bid selections are made to round out the ten team field that makes up the NCCAA College Baseball World Series. The Royals were informed that they did not recevie an at-large bid that ended their season.
