Ecclesia College makes the trip to Central Christian College of Kansas for a regional matchup with the Tigers. It was a one-sided match that lead to a 3-0 win for the Tigers.
The first half opened with a heavy offensive attack that only lead to one first half goal for the Tigers. This can be credited to the Royals defense and eight first half saves for goalkeeper Eduardo De La Torre. The Royals entered the intermission down 1-0.
The Tigers did not take long to capitalize and make the game a 2-0 score off a 55th minute goal. With similar urgency CCCK headed in their third goal of the day only 4 minutes after their second goal. Jose Serpas played goalkeeper for most of the second half and added four saves to De La Torre’s nine. The final buzzer blew with a score of 3-0 in Central’s favor.
The Royals managed to place 63% of shots on goal included 3 out of 3 from Landen Fulfer, Jorge Zamarron and Michael Gomez added SOG’s as well.
