This is Stalnaker's second consecutive All-American honor as he was named 2nd Team All-American last season as a sophomore.

Prior to being named an All-American, Stalnaker was selected 1st Team All-Conference, Conference Player of the Year and 1st Team All-Central Region.

Individually at the plate, Stalnaker finished nationally ranked in the top 25 in several categories. They are:
#7 batting average (.399)
#11 slugging percentage (.631)
#11 on base percentage (.490)
#13 doubles (18)
#18 runs batted in (49).

Ecclesia College Baseball (33-23) went 1-3 in pool play action in their first ever appearance in NCCAA World Series held in Cincinnati, Ohio May 24-27 at the beautiful Prasco Stadium.

Participation in the World Series was the Royals first appearance since the program's inaugural season five years ago. Head coach Derrion Hardie was hired to lead the development of the baseball program, which had its inaugural season in 2013. Coach Hardie has successfully directed the program to five consecutive winning seasons and post-season berths. The Royals were just one game from an automatic berth to the World Series in the program's first year, but they lost in the Central Region Championship Game 5-1 to NCAA DII Oklahoma Christian University. The Royals have won 140 games in the program's first five seasons.

Evidence of the strength of the Royals' World Series pool can be seen with Oklahoma Baptist University and Campbellsville University advancing from the pool to the semi finals and proceeding to meet each other in the National Championship game. Oklahoma Baptist defeated Campbellsville University 7-6 on walk off in the tenth inning.
