In September of 2017, athletic director Pat Briley announced the hiring of Eduardo Ramirez for the position of head men's soccer coach. "Eduardo Ramirez will bring a level of enthusiasm and motivation coupled with a discipleship attitude which will enable the men's soccer program to reach new levels. His vision of a new soccer complex will greatly aid in recruiting and will allow Ecclesia to be a front runner in NCCAA Div. 1 soccer by next season." Said Briley in a statement.

Ramirez, born in Mexico City, Mexico, was raised right next door in Rogers, Arkansas.
