Royals Show Heart in Road Game at Arkansas Tech

In a challenging but valuable road contest at Tucker Coliseum, the Ecclesia College Royals fought with determination against Arkansas Tech University on December 9, 2025. Although the final score reflected a loss, the Royals displayed encouraging effort, moments of competitive play, and individual growth that will serve the program well moving forward.

From the opening whistle, Ecclesia raced out with energy, scoring 20 points in the first half and staying active on both ends of the floor. By halftime, the Royals had already put up a solid 20 points, showing resilience against a well-organized Tech squad.

Senior Christian Ford was a beacon of consistent offense throughout the game, leading the scoring with 17 points while showing efficiency in his shot selection and making his impact felt across multiple facets of the game. His ability to put points on the board highlighted Ecclesia's competitive spirit.

Adrian Nelson also had a standout performance, competing with toughness and adding 9 points while attacking the basket and crashing the boards. His energy contributed to Ecclesia's offensive flow and helped create opportunities for his teammates.

Despite the challenges that come with facing a larger and deeper roster, the Royals continued to fight through every possession. The second half brought further offensive contributions, with the team taking advantage of free-throw opportunities and continuing to battle for rebounds and transition chances.

Ecclesia's effort on the glass and in transition demonstrated growth and grit. The team remained engaged on defense, generating hustle plays and supporting each other in tough matchups throughout the contest.

This game offered valuable in-game experience, and the Royals will carry it into their next opportunity as they continue to refine their identity and grow in confidence. Every road test like this is another step forward for a team that refuses to quit.
