The Royals have rebounded from the disappointing losses in Arlington last weekend by winning 5 games in a row to set up an important 3-game road series this weekend with Kansas Christian College.
After losing 3 games on the road at ABU, the Royals refused to accept defeat. After coming out slow and getting down 3-0 the team came to life and rallied back to win 6-5 on a walk-off bunt by
Gustavo Soto to take Game 1 of the home series with Randall. Carrying that momentum, the pitching staff started dominate.
Eduardo Soto started Game 2 on the bump, going 5 innings and allowing 0 runs on 5 hits with 3 strikeouts and picking up the win.
Aidan Wagley pitched in relief and picked up his second save of the 2025 season, going 2 innings with 1 run, 3 strikeouts and 0 walks. It was more of the same for the pitching staff in Game 3 with
Pablo Rodriguez starting and
Cade Bell getting his first win of the season while
Ryan Pindell closed out the game with a perfect inning with 1 K. The offense gave the staff plenty of room to work, scoring 10 runs thanks to RBIs from
Ethan Delgado (2-5, 1 R, 2 RBI),
Ray Jaramillo (2-5, 2 RBI),
Gustavo Soto (1-4, 1 R, 1 RBI) and
Tucker Bradley (2-3, 3 RBI).The Royals also ran the bases at will, with Delgado (2),
KJ Merriweather (2), Jaramillo (1), and
Delton Lamborn (1) all stealing bases.
After completing the season sweep of Randall, the Royals travelled to College of the Ozarks on Tuesday for a doubleheader to finish the 4-game series started back in February. The teams split the first doubleheader to go into Tuesday tied 1-1. The offense picked up right where they left off in the 8th inning against Randall, jumping on C of O immediately to take a 3-0 lead in the first inning. After a solo home run from C of O's Hunter Lewis,
Cole Doke finished the first 3 innings for the Royals, allowing only 3 hits. Josh Nicholson pitched in relief and got his 3rd win of the season, allowing 0 hits while striking out 2 in 3 innings of work.
Fred Marsh closed the game out as the Royals took Game 1 10-5. The offense had a game yet again, with

Ray Jaramillo (2-4, 1 RBI) and
CJ Price (2-4, 2 R, 1 RBI) all knocking in runs.
The Royals completed the series win against C of O in Game 2.
Ryan Pindell started on the mound and shoved to pick up his first win of the season. Pindell threw 5 innings and allowed 1 run on 3 hits and struck out 2.
Cole Edwards came out of the bullpen to finish the game, throwing the last 2 innings and allowing 2 earned runs on 2 hits with 2 strikeouts.
