Western Mussett is starting here at Ecclesia this year as a junior. She was a four year varsity player in high school that received Offensive Player of the Year every year. She also received All-District and All-Region all four years. Mussett's senior year she was also recognized as an All-State player. Another highlight in Western's softball career is winning the 14u Babe Ruth World Series in 2016. Western then went on to play at the collegiate level as a utility infielder at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain. After two years at Rich Mountain she has found a home and roster spot at Ecclesia College. Mussett will be playing middle infield and some third base this year, and will be a huge help at the plate for the Royals softball program. Western has a great swing, throw, and will dive for any ball to get it stopped in the infield. This year we expect her to help tremendously on defense and be a great addition to the Royals program.
