Coach Jenkins currently serves as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Ecclesia
College, where she brings a unique blend of athletic experience, academic achievement, and
leadership to the program. A proud graduate of Little Rock Central High School and an
inductee into the Little Rock Central Athletic Hall of Fame, she is deeply committed to
mentoring and developing the next generation of female student-athletes.
She holds an Associate’s degree from Pulaski Technical College, a Bachelor’s degree in
Organizational Management from John Brown University, and a Master of Business
Administration (MBA) with a minor in Human Resource Management. Her education
provides her with the leadership skills and strategic mindset needed to support student-
athletes both on and off the court.
Before beginning her coaching journey, Coach Jenkins served as the Program Director of the
Natural State JUCO Jamboree, where she worked with junior college athletes to help them
gain exposure and move on to four-year programs. Her work in this role gave her valuable
experience in player development, recruitment, and athletic event coordination.

Jenkins, and together they have four children: Kelly Jr., Alexis, Jade, and Byron Jr. Coach
Jenkins values faith, family, and the calling God has placed on her life. She believes the
lessons learned through sports—teamwork, resilience, and character—begin at home and
are strengthened by a strong relationship with God. Her faith and family continue to be her
foundation as she mentors young women to become leaders in life.
