Ecclesia College

Luis Lopez is a sophomore goalkeeper for Ecclesia College who has been between the pipes for 14 years, ever since his dad put him on a club team at age 6. That early start turned into a lifelong love for the sport and a drive to play at the highest level possible. In high school, Luis earned Golden Glove honors and Second Team All-Conference recognition, and he helped his college team punch a ticket to nationals. He's now chasing a starting role and All-American recognition as he continues his career. He credits his parents as his biggest athletic influence, pointing to everything they've sacrificed and the constant support they've given him. Outside of soccer, Luis loves getting away to Mexico on vacation. After graduation, he plans to get his degree, start working, and buy his own house, all while keeping the door open to playing professional soccer
