Ecclesia College

Juan Lopera is from Colombia and has built his soccer career across several clubs, including Deportivo Cali, Leones del Sur, and Seward County Community College. Over the course of his career, he has scored 70 goals and tallied over 100 assists. While with Deportivo Cali, he was named Best Player of the Year, further establishing his reputation as a dominant, hard-nosed competitor who plays with passion in every match. Juan Lopera is a midfielder. He is now a senior at Ecclesia, balancing his athletic career with a strong commitment to academics, currently holding a 3.2 GPA with the goal of graduating with honors. He plans to pursue business studies, with hopes of one day owning and managing his own business. Driven to compete at the collegiate level as a step toward his goal of turning professional. Outside of soccer, he enjoys reading, playing video games, and being an active, helpful presence in his community and with his family.
