Ecclesia College Men's Soccer has revealed a striking new crest that marks a new chapter in the program's identity—bold in design, rich in meaning, and rooted in mission.
With 14 new signings and a demanding schedule ahead, the crest arrives at a defining moment. More than a visual upgrade, it's a symbol of who we are and what we stand for: faith, brotherhood, and fearless competition.
What the Crest Represents.
The Lion
At the center of the crest is the Lion of Judah—a biblical symbol of Christ's kingship and victory. It represents our team's call to lead with courage, to compete without fear, and to live with conviction. This lion reminds us daily that we follow someone greater, and that every moment on the field is a chance to reflect His strength.
The Shield
The gold shield frames the lion and grounds the entire design. It stands for protection, unity, and the resolve to defend not just a goal—but a culture. It marks each player as part of something bigger than themselves: a brotherhood built on discipline, sacrifice, and belief.
The Judah Block Typeface
The bold, all-caps lettering gives the crest a voice. We call it Judah Block—a typeface designed to reflect clarity, conviction, and identity. It's not styled for flair; it's built for truth. It speaks the way we play: with purpose, no hesitation.
"The lion isn't just for show—it's who we follow. Christ leads this team, and this crest keeps that front and center," said Head Coach Christian Castro.
